The rooks have come back, 2022

Single channel video-installation, three Soviet-time reproductions of the painting “The Rooks Have Come Back” by Alexei Savrasov (1871), metal staples, sound — Corvus trugilegus” from “Голоса весны: записи Б.Вепринцева” [Звукозапись]. Москва, Мелодия, 1973/"Sounds of spring: recordings by B.Veprintsev”, Moscow, Melody, 1973. 

The animation begins with the scanning the wall line of light, then in the line the staple-like birds start the movement. At the end of the video, the line collapses as there are too many bird-signs chaotically moving.
