Entangled metal shavings — the waste and what practically remains of the plant Remputmash, Perm (1878-2019) — are given a second life and breath as they are animated by a mechanism when viewers approach it. With its pulse and rhythmic vibrations, the object commemorates the former life of the plant and its powerful industrial processes.
